Kinetic Potential - Meet the Trainer

Kelli has been working for the past 28 years as a personal trainer in the fitness industry and the last 20 years as a practicing Kinesiologist. Shortly after high school, Kelli completed her strength trainer certification with BCRPA and began working as a personal trainer in Langley out of a large co-ed facility. After three years of training, Kelli developed a real passion for a better understanding of the complex nature of the human body and it's physiology. As a result, she chose to further her education at the University College of the Fraser Valley. During her time at UCFV, Kelli studied Kinesiology, the study of human movement, with a focus in exercise physiology. While always looking for new challenges, Kelli strives to share her knowledge of the importance of training with all those willing to learn. Having started in a large co-ed facility, Kelli moved on to smaller private training studios before starting her own training business in 2006.

Following her degree Kelli also obtained her certification as a Pilates instructor and Sport Conditioning Specialist and has taught private personal training sessions and small group classes throughout the Fraser Valley area. Kelli's current clientele is quite diverse, consisting of local student and national level athletes, to post rehabilitation and chronic pain cases, to seniors, pre & post-natal fitness and everything in between. Kelli combines her knowledge of biomechanics, physiology, growth and motor development, along with pilates principles to offer unique, specialized training focused around core strength and stability to help each client reach their individual goals.

Kelli also brings her active lifestyle and love of competitive sport to the health and fitness industry. With her first love being volleyball, she competed for several years through high school and continues to play recreationally. In the off-season her sport of choice was soccer to stay in shape. More recently Kelli has been actively enjoying more outdoor pursuits such as trail running, hiking, camping, golfing and kayaking with skydiving still on her list of things to do. Over the last couple of years Kelli has taken on her most exciting and challenging role to date as Mom to her two beautiful and very active children Jake and Julianna!
